Kerry FC has officially announced that we are to play in the SSE Airtricity First Division in 2023. The news came after months of hard work and determination from everyone behind the scenes at the newly formed club.
Speaking to the assembled press at the announcement, General Manager Sean O Keeffe outlined how it was a momentous day for everybody in Kerry. “As a brainchild for a long time, this day is a day for the history books for Kerry people and Kerry sport. It is a momentous day for everyone playing or involved in the football scene in Kerry” he said. Seán added “It will bring a lot of football and business to multiple organisations including you, the media; It’s good for all the businesses both here in Tralee and in the county of Kerry. We hope to see supporters purchasing Season Tickets and club merchandise. When money comes into Kerry FC, it also goes out into the locality which is hugely important.”
