Former PSG Goalkeeper Mathyas Randriamamy has signed for Kerry FC!

Kerry Football Club are delighted to announce the arrival of former Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Mathyas Randriamamy to the Kingdom for the 2025 season.

Randriamamy, who is 21 and from Madagascar, becomes Conor McCarthy’s latest addition as the 2025 season gets into gear.

Mathyas brings a huge wealth of experience with him to Mounthawk Park, with the most noticeable former clubs being French giants PSG, where Randriamamy spent some 6 years with the French Champions. Starting at youths level, Mathyas progressed through the ranks and was part of their first team squad, where he trained daily with names like Kylian Mbappé, Neymar and Di Maria. In the 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League season, Mathyas was on the bench for 3 matches, including the semi-final defeat to Manchester City.

Randriamamy signs for Kerry from Cyprus club Ermis Aradippou, where he played 17 games in the 2nd Division. Randriamamy has also represented his country Madagascar on a number of occasions and most recently was part of their squad for World Cup qualifiers for the last couple of years

Speaking to kerryfc.com after his signing, Mathyas Randriamamy said, “I’m very happy to be joining the club and to be part of the Kingdom. Very happy to join this fantastic talented group, and a big thank you to the coaches for their confidence. I hope and believe that together we can achieve something great this season and make Kerry fans proud. For my part, I promise to give everything I have to help the team and help this club grow and write its history. I’m very happy to be a Kerry player and I will see you all at Mounthawk Park!”

Also speaking to kerryfc.com, First Team Manager Conor McCarthy said, “We are delighted to have Mathyas here with us in Kerry. He brings a huge wealth of experience with him, from international matches to UEFA Champions League and Ligue 1 games with PSG as well. He is now added to a stock of very strong goalkeepers we have here in Kerry, and I look forward to him fighting for his place in the team. We have a strong squad for the season and everyone is fighting for places, it’s a great complaint!”
