The fixture list for the 2024 SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division was revealed this afternoon.
The Kingdom will play 38 games in all during the league season which runs from February to October.
The fans will be eagerly counting down the days for the highly anticipated clash against Cork City FC. The Kingdom will travel to Turners Cross on the opening night of the season, February 16th with kick off at the famous venue at 19:45.
This game will be followed up by back to back home games on February 23rd and March 1st against Bray Wanderers and Treaty United respectively.
Bank Holiday Monday fixtures will once again be played in 2024 with kick off times of 5pm confirmed across the board. We travel to UCD AFC on Easter Monday, April 1st. The May Bank Holiday Monday sees us play Longford Town in Bishopsgate on May 6th while we have a home tie against Treaty United on the June Bank Holiday Monday, June 3rd.
Also featuring in the summer are two Thursday night games. Longford Town visit Mounthawk Park on June 13th before we head on the summer break of 1 week. We make the long journey to Ballybofey to face Finn Harps on Thursday, July 4th.
Unlike the 2023 season, our final game of the season is a home fixture. We host Athlone Town to close out the season on October 18th at 19:45
