For a third Friday in a row, Kerry FC are on the road tomorrow evening, and it’s back-to-back trips up the M7 as we make the spin to Belfield and the UCD Bowl for a clash against the students. Kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 tomorrow.
Well, it’s been a tough couple of weeks for the Kingdom. With the 3-0 home win against Athlone Town now firmly in the rear view mirror, Kerry are on a tough run of results at the moment and will be looking to stop the string of defeats against a tricky UCD outfit tomorrow evening. Despite being outplayed for the majority in the Carlisle Grounds last Friday night, Kerry can take some positives from the last 20 minutes or so. With Ryan Kelliher back to his best in front of goal, the Killarney man netted twice in 4 minutes for Kerry late on in the game and will be looking to add to his season tally tomorrow night.
As for UCD, they will be well buoyed by a 1-0 away win in Ferrycarrig Park last Friday night. In fact, this is the student’s first home game since April 4th, playing the last 4 away from home. UCD sit 6th in the table, level on points with play-off placed Treaty United. As for Kerry, a victory could see the Kingdom move into 8th place.

Injury Update
Conor McCarthy has no major new injury concerns ahead of the trip to Dublin tomorrow evening. Nathan Gleeson is ticking closer to his return to the Matchday 20. What they said?
Conor McCarthy – “It’s a similar answer I’m giving every week, they are a very, very good side, they’ve got some great players and listen it’s up to us, both individually and as a team, to make it as we possibly can for them. If we go up there with the right intensity and we take control of situations, then we will be right there to get points, if we don’t we won’t and that is the same every week.”
