Kerry FC is delighted to confirm the re-signing of Tralee youngster Cian Brosnan for the 2025 campaign.
The 20-year-old Kerry man has made 53 appearances for the club, 41 of which have been off the bench. He has scored four goals for the club, with most coming at crucial intervals in the game. Over the last two seasons with Kerry FC, Cian Brosnan has become a fan favourite to the Mounthawk Park faithful and is sure to impress once again in 2025. Brosnan finished the 2024 campaign in style. His 30-yard free kick against Athlone Town on the final day of the season earned him the 2024 Kerry FC Goal of the Season award.
Speaking to kerryfc.com following his re-signing with the club, Cian Brosnan said “I’m delighted to sign back with Kerry FC for another year. I’m really excited ahead of the new season. I’m looking forward to pre-season and can’t wait to be back out in Mounthawk Park in front of the fans.”
Also speaking to kerryfc.com after his re-signing for the club, First Team Head Coach Conor McCarthy said, “Similar to our other re-signings, I’m delighted to have Brossie back with us for the 2025 campaign. A young player with bucketloads of talent. He is committed and hard-working and always goes into training at 100%. We’ve seen the impact Cian has made off the bench for us over the last 2 seasons and has always stepped up when in the starting 11 as well. 2025 will be a massive year for him, and I look forward to working with Cian again in 2025 and getting the best out of him on a regular basis.”
