Kerry FC are delighted to announce the signing of Ewan Lee for the remainder of the 2025 SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division campaign.
The 22-year-old Cork man makes the switch from the college side to the Kingdom and will play in the League of Ireland for the first time with Kerry FC. Ewan has twice played against Kerry FC. First was for non-league side Ringmahon Rangers, where he played 70 minutes against Kerry in Mounthawk Park in the Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup. Ewan also represented Ireland in the UEFA Regions Cup, a side made up of the best from the Munster FA, who played Kerry in a mid-season friendly last year.
Speaking on his arrival in the Kingdom, Ewan Lee said, “Signing for Kerry FC is a great honour for me. Seeing how much the club means to all those involved and the fans who come to all the matches is something that I look forward to being a part of. Kerry FC are a club going in the right direction, and I hope that I can help them continue to do so.”
Also speaking after Ewan’s arrival, Colin Healy said, “It’s a massive opportunity for Ewan to make the step up to League of Ireland football here in Kerry. He comes with massive experience playing with the Irish Amateur side and was well represented in the Munster Senior League over the last few years. This is the next part of his footballing journey, and he has impressed since he came in training. So ya, delighted to have him in with us and looking forward to seeing what he can bring to our team”
